A Brief History Of Holy Martyrs Council #4733
Holy Martyrs Council No. 4733 of the Knights of Columbus was chartered on March 10, 1959, at St. Mary’s Parish in Canton, Ohio. Our council has been an active part of the Catholic community in southern Stark County for over 50 years in St. Mary’s/St. Benedict’s & St. Anthony/All Saints parishes. We follow the ideals established by our founder, Father Michael J. McGivney embracing the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
Holy Martyrs Council members support activities in the parishes including RCIA, Right to Life, and Youth programs. Members help maintain the buildings and grounds. Council activities also raise funds to support vocations, religious education and other causes.
